Vehicles

At Hornchurch MiniCabs we have a wide range of vehicles from saloon cars to people carriers which are suitable for 6 passengers.

It is really important that we organise the correct car for your journey – babies and toddlers count as people so the passenger limits within the vehicles must include these – an overloaded vehicle is not only unsafe it is illegal and will invalidate the insurance.

Saloon Cars – these are suitable to carry up to 4 passengers – however remember that they only have a standard boot therefore they will accommodate approximately 2 standard cases and hand luggage or 3 smaller cases with hand luggage. These cars would be similar to a Mondeo, Passat or Vectra or equivalent.

Estate Cars – these again are suitable to carry up to 4 passengers – they have a larger boot area so can carry 4 standard cases and hand luggage or 6 smaller cases with hand luggage. These cars would be similar to a Mondeo estate, Passat estate or Vectra estate or equivalent.

6 Seaters – these are suitable to carry 6 passengers – when carrying 6 passengers they have almost no luggage space – however they are suitable for 5 passengers with 5 standard cases and hand luggage or 6 smaller cases with hand luggage. These cars would be similar to a Galaxy, Sharan, Zafira or equivalent.

When asking for a vehicle please tell us the number of passengers travelling – do not just ask for a 7 seater when actually there are 5 or 6 passengers as this would be suitable for a 6 Seater.

You may always be supplied with a larger vehicle than you ordered – however if you occupy the space of the larger vehicle and have only asked for a smaller vehicle the applicable tariff will be charged for the larger vehicle.

We are not permitted by the Public Carriage Office / Transport for London to operate MiniBusses – our apologies for not being able to provide this service.
